Andrew Watt has created an XSL-FO mailing list, for developers working with the XSL formatting objects technology from the W3C.
Watt writes that:
... from my perspective XSL-FO is just reaching the point where adequate
tools (albeit preview releases) are beginning to become available. This, I
think, will move XSL-FO over the next few months from a complex abstraction
to a living technology.
Watt also explicitly mentions an area of active exploration for XSL-FO: its use with SVG, the W3C's vector graphics specification.
The new list is hosted at eGroups, and interested developers may subscribe via the web page, or by sending a mail to XSL-FO-subscribe@egroups.com.
