Nat Makarevitch writes with news of IDX XMnesia, an Erlang library allowing storage of XML data in an Mnesia database.

Mnesia is a distributed database management system, suitable for continuous operation soft real-time applications. It is part of Erlang.

Makarevitch explains that IDX XMnesia can either be used directly from Erlang itself, or from other programming languages such as Python.

IDX XMnesia is licensed under the GPL.
