The W3C has published the first working draft of XSL Transformations (XSLT), Version 1.1.
XSLT 1.1 serves two purposes, fixing errors noted in XSLT 1.0 and addressing new requirements identified by the W3C since the publication of Version 1.0.
There are some substantial additions here, including support for XML Base, a 'namespace fixup', more detail on extensions, rules for multiple output documents (very useful for slides!) and an appendix detailing DOM bindings for extension functions.
An appendix detailing changes from 1.0 and a version with revision marks incorporated are available.
