Guenter Obiltschnig has announced version 1.7.0 of CenterPoint/XML, an open source C++ library for reading and writing XML streams.

CenterPoint/XML is based on expat 1.2, the most recent production release of Clark's C XML-parser, and requires it in order to be compiled. CenterPoint has SAX support (including restricted support for SAX2), and DOM Level 1 support.

This new release includes bug fixes and improvements to the CXMLWriter class, and adds support for serializing DOM trees to XML streams.
