DOM Level 2 modularized on way to PR

Philippe Le Hegaret announced the release of DOM Level 2 as six separate Proposed Recommendations.

While previous drafts of DOM Level 2 (through its Candidate Recommendation) had contained similar divisions to the current fragments, the new version appears to fit well with the modular approach being taken by DOM Level 3.(Core, Events, and Content Models and Load and Save)

These drafts reflect comments received during the Candidate Recommendation phase, but have not received the approval of the W3C membership or director. It isn't clear if these CRs will be approved individually or as a group.

The closing date for comments is 25 October 2000.
