The first Composite Capabilities/Preference Profiles implementors' day sessions have been announced: November 15 and 16 in Karlstad, Sweden.

CC/PP is a W3C technology that uses RDF for the management of device profile information. Spread over two days, the agenda will include:

  • Day 1: Review of the CC/PP specifications and additional documents, review of protocol work, review of existing implementations, conformance criteria, further specification work needed
  • Day 2: Details from (existing) implementations, content adaption strategies, RDF parsers - experiences and recommendations, RDF parsing models, future CC/PP and RDF developments

Announcing the sessions, Johan Hjelm (of Ericsson, and Chair of the CC/PP Working Group) writes:

Implementors are encouraged to publish information about their work to the www-mobile@w3.org list. There will also be a possibility to demonstrate implementations.

Those who wish to participate in the meeting should notify Mikael Nilsson of Ericsson Infotech.
