IBM's alphaWorks has released version 0.4a of their SVGView Java SVG viewer, adding support for the 20000303 DTD of SVG and an interactive editing facility.

The editor presents a graphical view of the SVG DOM, allowing alteration of the DOM tree, which is then reflected in the rendered view.

This version also includes a JPEG export facility, and is compatible with the Apache XML Project's Xerces 1.0.3 XML parser.
