Michel Rodriguez has updated the Ways to Rome
survey of Perl modules for processing XML.
Espousing the Perl culture of there being More Than One
Way To Do It, the Ways to Rome paper presents no less than
eleven Perl solutions to a tree-filtering problem, utilizing
the various CPAN XML modules available.
Each of the methods is benchmarked, and full listings are
given, giving the reader a reasonable idea of
performance/complexity tradeoffs and some good starting
points for Perl/XML coding.
