The W3C has released a Last Call Working Draft of XHTML Basic, a
very simple subset of XHTML intended for cell phones, PDAs, and other small devices.
Without the formal declarations, XHTML Basic is a mere 7 pages, including references. The largest changes appear to be a
reference to the required XHTML Family Modules and the addition of an SGML Open Catalog Entry.
Last Call ends 15 March 2000.
