Page formatting for CSS3
19:16, 1 Oct 1999 UTC | Simon St.Laurent

The World Wide Web Consortium has released a second draft of Paged Media Properties for CSS3, describing tools for adding headers, footers, notes, and cross-references to documents formatted with CSS.

This proposal brings extra support into CSS for handling printed documents and other paged formats (like PDF), adding functionality much like that provided by XSL formatting objects for paged media. A complete list of CSS3 activities is also available. Discussion of this draft is taking place on the www-style mailing list.
