Miloslav Nic announced the release of a new Zvon tutorial on DTDs, while Curt Arnold announced a help file on XML Schemas .

The Zvon tutorial is a set of thoroughly documented examples, demonstrating both proper and improper usage of DOCTYPE declarations and DTD components.

The XML Schemas help file requires Microsoft HTMLHelp. It comes in two versions, one that covers the 17 December 1999 draft, and another that covers possible (though unofficial) variations to that draft.
