Python
ZSI: open-source Python SOAP implementation
05:45, 7 Mar 2002 UTC | Michael Smith

Rich Salz has released version 1.2 of ZSI (the Zolera SOAP Infrastructure), a Python module that implements the SOAP 1.1 specification and that can be used to build applications using SOAP messages with attachments.

The ZSI module, which is part of the Python Web Services project at Sourceforge, requires Python 2.0 or later and PyXML 0.6 or later.

A recent article at the IBM developerWorks site, The Python Web services developer: Python SOAP libraries, Part 2, provides a nice overview of ZSI.

Discussion of ZSI takes place on the Pywebsvcs-talk mailing list.
