DZIP proposal for XML packaging
22:04, 11 Dec 2001 UTC | Edd Dumbill

Rick Jelliffe of Topologi has published their DZIP proposal for the packaging and interchange of metadata, schemas and scripts for XML document types.

Topologi have implemented the technology that Jelliffe describes in the DZIP document, which solves the problem of how to distribute XML documents and related assets such as stylesheets and schemas. DZIP is basically a ZIP file whose contents are subject to naming conventions.
