Nick Semenov released a new Perl version of the XML-DBMS package, a set of tools for connecting XML documents and relational databases.

XML-DBMS uses a mapping language, also in XML, to represent the connections between XML document structures and relational database tables.

This update to the Perl version provides:

"bug fixes as well as increased functionality in the retrieveDocument function. You can now specify a select filter, which allows you to choose rows from the root table based on columns other than the primary key columns. You can also limit the number of rows returned in the DOM tree."
