New alphaWorks releases of XML parsers and RPG interface

IBM's alphaWorks site has new releases of XML for C++, XML for Java and XML Interface for RPG.

The XML parsers are based on the Xerces parsers, part of the Apache XML project.

New "XML for C++" features include: experimental versions of DOM Level 2 - Range, Traversal and SAX2, improved support for Entities in the DOM, bug fixes and performance improvemenents.

New features in "XML for Java" include experimental versions of DOM level 2, SAX2 (b2), and partial support for the April 7 XML Schema draft.

Significant changes have been made in the XML interface for RPG, IBM's wrappers for XML4C running on the AS/400. These include a new commercial license agreement, new API naming conventions, the addition of SAX APIs, improved translation facilities, new output stream functions and improved documentation and examples.
