01:17, 1 Aug 2000 UTC | Simon St.Laurent The W3C released a new draft of the XML Information Set (Infoset), revising a document that had been trapped by the namespace URI debate. A link to the internal version of the draft suggests a bit more about its perhaps-intended status than does the current public draft:
This draft, which follows a Last Call draft, but is not a Candidate Recommendation, is not substantially changed in its content, though there are an enormous number of editorial changes and Section 5 of the old draft is now Appendix C of the new draft.
