The W3C released a barrage of drafts (
1
2
3
4
) on Composite Capability/Preference Profiles (CC/PP).
Composite Capabilities/Preference Profiles: Requirements and Architecture
- This is a very mild revision of an earlier draft. Most content appears identical, though a
Terminology appendix
has been removed to a separate document, described below.
Composite Capabilities/Preference Profiles: Terminology and Abbreviations
- This is very similar to the old Terminology appendix from the Requirements document, though it also contains the reference listings. Other CC/PP documents can include this one by reference.
CC/PP Attribute Vocabularies
- This is the first public working draft describing "
vocabularies used to describe the attributes of clients, and of proxies that offer content adaptation possibilities.
". It and the Structures draft appear to have their roots in the W3C Note
Composite Capability/Preference Profiles (CC/PP): A user side framework for content negotiation
Composite Capability/Preference Profiles (CC/PP): Structure
- This draft describes "
a method for using RDF, the
Resource Description Framework
of the W3C, to create a general, yet extensible framework for describing user preferences and device capabilities
".
