The latest beta release of FourThought's 4XSLT is now feature-complete, according to Uche Ogbuji.

4XSLT 0.9.2, a beta release, has had many improvements, including:

  • Internal restructing and cleaner external API
  • Improved encoding handling
  • Implement extension functions
  • Improved performance

The release comes at the same time as version 0.10.2 of 4DOM, the Python XML DOM library. 4DOM changes include:

  • Support for wide range of output encodings
  • Updated for the 20000510 DOM Candidate Recommendation
  • Bug fixes

Ogbuji requests that Python developers give the beta a "work-out" as the 4Suite XML applications head towards final release.
