Rael Dornfest has released PRAX, a PHP implementation of RAX, a simple API for accessing database-like XML.

RAX was conceived by Sean McGrath, and described in XML.com earlier this year. Dornfest's PHP version is a port of XML::RAX, a Perl implementation by Robert Hanson.

PRAX can read recordsets from either XML in a string or a file. It requires the XML module enabled in PHP.
