Second release of W3C SVG test suite
23:20, 2 Feb 2001 UTC | Edd Dumbill

The W3C SVG Working Group has announced the second release of its SVG test suite, bringing it up to date with the SVG Candidate Recommendation.

This release comprises 127 tests, dubbed "Basic Effectivity" tests, which cover all of the SVG specification shallowly. Later releases of the test suite will add "Drilldown" tests, which explore fully particular features of SVG.

The test suite also includes multiple harnesses and a user manual. A snapshot has been created of the conformance status of SVG implementations against the test suite.
