The W3C has released Working Drafts of XHTML 2.0 and XFrames, as well as a second edition of the XHTML 1.0 Recommendation.
The new XHTML 2.0 introduces XForms integration, navigation lists, linking on every element, unordered section headings, and an expanded role for the object
element. For more details on all of these features, see XHTML 2.0: The Latest Trick.
XFrames introduces a new vocabulary for creating frame-based Web sites, replacing the deprecated mechanisms that were supported only in the frameset version of XHTML 1.0. XFrames changes many of the mechanisms used for frames.
The Second Edition of XHTML 1.0 incorporates errata. A diff-marked version is available.
The new drafts have aroused a lot of discussion on xml-dev and on XHTML-L.
