XML Inclusions enters Last Call

The W3C's XML Core Working Group has published the Last Call Working Draft of XML Inclusions (XInclude) specification, with a comment period ending June 5 2001.

XInclude specifices a processing model and syntax for general purpose XML inclusion, described as "merging a number of XML Infosets into a single composite Infoset."

The main changes in this specification include a new namespace URI, and some reorganization since the previous draft published in October 2000.
